Peacefully at home surrounded by those who loved him and will forever cherish his memory. Kenneth Coddington, age 70, passed away after a short illness on October 18, 2017. Born in Stratford to the late Jack and Audrey (Morrison) Coddington. Much loved husband for 48 years to Brenda (Robertson) and cherished dad to Rodney (Lynn Pye), Leanne Struthers (Bob) and Amy Coddington (Jason). Special Pa to Zachary Pye-Coddington, Allison, Ethan and Annalee Struthers and Emmalee and Jacob Bryans and their dad Gary. Chosen Pa to Nicole Weitzel (Ryan) and Great-grandpa to McKenna. Dear brother of Jack (Betty), Jim (Karen), Margaret DeLong (Arnold), Ruth Fletcher, Bill (Sally), June Pickering (Leonard), Nelson (Linda), Helen Chesterfield (Robert), Marianne Coddington and Jean Carroll-Coddington (Jim). Dearest brother-in-law to Pat Coddington, Bob Robertson, Bill Robertson (Kathy), Jim Robertson (Donna), Brian Robertson, Teresa Robertson, Ken Robertson (Terry), Pauline Robertson, Virginia Robertson, Laura McCaustlin (Mark), Arlene Robertson (Steve Chambers), Dean Robertson (Jean), and many nieces and nephews and their families. Predeceased by a brother Lawrence, brother-in-law Murray Fletcher and sisters-in-law Joyce Coddington, Kathy Robertson and Pamela (Robertson) Spence. Ken was a long-time employee of R&N Construction, St. Marys. He enjoyed his 1952 Ford pickup and going to car shows. Visitation at the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford on Sunday, October 22 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, October 23, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Catherine Calkin officiating. Interment at Avonbank Cemetery.
