Lenora Mary Willis, age 80, of Stratford passed away peacefully at the Stratford General Hospital on April 2, 2018. Born in Hesson, August 8, 1937, daughter of the late Charlie and Evelyn (Hanley) Girodat. Lenora worked at the Bank of Nova Scotia for 40 years until her retirement. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Church, Stratford and the Catholic Women’s League.
Beloved wife of the late Roy Kenneth Willis who predeceased her November 30, 2011. Loving mother of Paul (Caroline). Grandmother of Rachel Willis, Cory Nairn (Shaina) and Kelsey Nairn (Cory). Sister of Joseph Girodat, Ellen Meyer (Ron), Betty Geddes (Richard) and Denise Shantz (Stan). Also survived by sister-in-law Marion Culliton (Richard), brother-in-law Victor Willis, several nieces and nephews, many loving friends, neighbours and her best friend and companion Charlie.
Predeceased by her sister Marilyn Girodat and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Madeleine Girodat, Ray Willis (Margaret), Don Willis and Edward Butterworth (Barb).

Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford on Thursday, April 5, from 6-8 p.m. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, 96 Huron Street, Stratford on Friday, April 6, at 11 a.m. Rev. Fr. Dick Bester – celebrant. A family interment will take place at Avondale Cemetery.
