It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Steven Headrick at the young age of 41 at his residence in Stratford following a fatal cardiac arrest on March 16, 2017. He is survived by Erin, his friend and mother of his two children Jake and Hannah. His soul mate Wendy who brought happiness, love and purpose to Steven's life every day, as he did to hers and always will. Steven is remembered with great love by his parents Wayne and Ingrid, his brother David and wife Tina, his sister Lisa and husband Greg, his brother and friend Daniel, nieces Kayla and Ashley and nephews Peter and John. Steven was a proud father of his children who he co-parented with Erin. He loved his kids unconditionally and was the "best dad ever!" Steven was a sports fanatic- a player and the biggest fan. He fondly recalled many memories of his years as a player and instilled those skills and enthusiasm into his kids and anyone surrounding him. He was a volunteer basketball coach for his son’s team and was a reliable and fun loving parent helper for his daughter’s class. He was an emotional man with a soft spot for animals, especially his two dogs Kelsey and Sadie. Sadie has since joined Steven passing a few days after her faithful owner. He will be very sadly missed every day and loved more than he ever knew. A memorial has already taken place and a closed graveside dedication will take place in Kingston at his final resting place with his grandfather and uncle who were very important people in Steven’s life. We will love you and miss you forever.
