Betty Inez Schenck
It is with sadness we announce the passing of our loving mother Betty Schenck, age 84 of Stratford on Tuesday November 19, 2013 at the Stratford General Hospital. Born in Stratford, daughter of the late George and Edna (Wolfe) Roegele. Betty had been employed for many years at Stratford Textiles and Avon Knit until her retirement. Beloved wife of the late Lloyd Schenck who predeceased her on December 18, 1977. Dearest mother of George (Patti) Schenck, John Schenck and Rob (Debra) Schenck. Loving grandmother to Danny, Melissa, Jason, Ashley and David. Proud great grandmother to Teagan, Leila, Tyler, Brianna, Trevor, Devon and Kirsten. Betty will be very much missed by her dear and loyal friend Marian Dixon. Betty is survived by her siblings, Myrtle Whiting, Jeanne McDonald and Bill (Lenore) Roggele, brother in law Norm Schenck and sister-in-law Marj (Ralph) White. Predeceased by her common law husband Ken Dunseith, a grandson Trevor and a sister Norma (Bill) Baker, brother in laws Willard (Hazel)(Marjorie) Schenck, Emmerson (Jean) Schenck and Lorne (Betty) Schenck. Betty is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends and relatives may call at the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street., Stratford on Friday November 22, 2013 from 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Saturday November 23, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. with interment in Avondale Cemetery.
