Beatrice Louise Beltz, age 91, Stratford passed away peacefully at Wildwood Care Centre, St. Marys on December 5, 2013. She was born in Stratford, daughter of the late Norman and Emma Kruspe. Beloved wife of the late Thomas Beltz who predeceased her December 11, 1997. Loving mother of Linda Carlisle (Bill), Beverley Butcher, Sandra McNicol (Ron), Brenda Kelly (Jim). Grandmother of Thomas Carlisle, Shannon Sideris, Pam Ball, Deborah Sherwood (Jason), Rhonda Switzer (Mark), Leanne Kelly, Gregory Kelly (Kimberly), Andrew Kelly (Jenn). Great grandmother of 18 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Audrey Scantlebury. Also survived by sisters-in-law Betty Beltz, Audrey Beltz and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband she was predeceased by a grandson Derek Kelly, 2 great grandsons, a son-in-law Murray Butcher, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law George Scantlebury, Gordon Beltz, Roy Beltz, Dave Beltz, Edna Saxton (Ken), May Mantz (Pat) and by a niece Cathy Leasa. Bea was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #8, Stratford, the Legion Ladies Auxiliary and the Order of the Eastern Star. Friends and relatives may call at the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford on Sunday, December 8th, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Avondale Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Shriner’s Hospital or the charity of one’s choice through the funeral home.
