Hazel Pearl Campbell, age 94 years, passed away peacefully at Hillside Manor, R.R. # 5 Stratford on Saturday, December 14, 2013. She was born in Nassagaweya Twp., Halton County, daughter of the late Charles Washington Donaven and the former Mary Pearl Carton. Hazel was a former employee of Fram Canada until her retirement in 1972 and a member of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church. She was predeceased by her husband David James Campbell (Sept. 18, 1991). Beloved mother of Beverley Abbott, Joanne Godden, Douglas Campbell (Donna), Geraldine Baumbach, Florence Campbell, Steven Campbell (Waverley). She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 11 great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews and their families. Besides her parents and her husband she was predeceased by a son Kenneth Charles Campbell (June 16, 1955), sons-in-law Ken Baumbach (May 30, 2003), Gerald Godden (Feb. 20, 2013), Brother Ernest Donaven, sister Myrtle Brown, granddaughters Veronica Partridge, Kimberley Campbell, twin grandsons Danny and Donny Godden, great granddaughter Candace Abbott and great grandson Tyler Lander and several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Friends and relatives may call at the W. G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron St., Stratford on Wednesday, December 18 from 10:30 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 11:30 a.m. Rev. Dr. Hugh Jones will officiate. Interment will follow in Avondale Cemetery.
