Simon Baker, age 84, passed away at People Care, Tavistock on February 15, 2014. He was born Siemen Bakker on May 20, 1929 in Sonnega, Friesland, The Netherlands. Simon is survived by his daughter Andrea, brother Henry (Hendrik) and sisters-in-law Nelly and Alice. He was predeceased by his wife Janet (nee McGaw), his parents Jacob and Jantje (nee Braad), brothers John (Jan) and Randy (Roelof) and sister-in-law Ena. Private family services will take place. Interment will be near Baie De Dore. Simon loved farming and the outdoors.
