HARVIE, Marjorie Elizabeth. With courage and dignity, on Saturday, April 5, 2014, at Cedarcroft Place, Stratford, Ontario. Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Elizabeth Harvie, and her brother, Jeffrey. She is survived by her sister, Barbara Gall, and brother-in-law, George, of Windsor, Ontario. Marjorie will be remembered with fondness by her nephews, Jeffrey (Paula) and Steven (Julie), nieces, Elizabeth Hart (George), Janet Thorpe (Don), Mary Wilkinson (Mark) and their families. During World War II, Marjorie served overseas with the Red Cross, forming close friendships that enriched her life immeasurably. She was a case-worker, administrator and consultant with Children’s Aid Societies in Toronto, London, Kenora and Dunnville. Marjorie will be remembered for her strength, tenacity and independent spirit. A Funeral service will be held at the W.G. Young’s Funeral Home, 430 Huron St., Stratford, on Wednesday, April 9th at 11 a.m. Many thanks to the staff at Cedarcroft for their compassionate care.
