Eydt, Marion (Urbach) age 84 passed away at Stratford General Hospital on Thursday June 5, 2014. Marion was born on January 26, 1930 in St. Thomas, daughter of the late Albert and Mary (Orr) Urbach. Marion lived most of her life in Stratford and was predeceased by her husband Russell Eydt in 1965. Marion and Russell dairy farmed at R.R. # 4 Stratford for 14 years after which Marion worked at Kraven Knitting until retiring in 1980 at which time she opened her home to festival guests. Marion found pleasure in her family and home. She is survived by her daughter Patricia Eydt and her son Bill (Janice) of Stratford, by granddaughters Lia (Michael) Camp and Sasha (Christopher) Chircoski of London and grandson Jaren Eydt and his fiance Sherri Dowsett of Stratford. Also by her great grandchildren Dylan and Madyson Eydt of Stratford and Alexandra and Hannah Chircoski of London. Marion was predeceased by her in-laws Pearle and Samuel Towel and sister-in-law and husband Gloria (Eydt) and Jack Yost. Also by her seven brothers and one sister; Irwin (Mary) Urbach, Albert (Pat), Howard (Marie), George, Alec, Hugh, Lorne and Jean (Bill) Gunder. She is survived by her sister Ella (Lorne) Wicks, sister-in-laws Evelyn and Olive of Peterborough and Fran of Stratford and numerous nieces and nephews. In keeping with Marion’s wishes cremation has taken place. Burial will take place in Greenwood Cemetery, Milverton at a later date. The family would like to sincerely thank the nursing staff and Dr. Eric Thomas for their wonderful care over the past month.
