Elizabeth “Betty” Jackaline (Kendrick) Smith, age 80, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, February 1, 2015 at St. Mary Memorial Hospital. Born in Stratford, daughter of the late Percy and Gladys (Pfrumter) Kendrick. Beloved wife and best friend of 59 years to Ivan Smith. Loving mother of Debra (Andy) Prikken, Barbara Graham (Gary), Karen (Bernard) Payton, Kathryn Edgar (Paul), and Kevin (Tammy) Smith, Thamesford. Proud grandmother to 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Survived by sisters, Marie Shaw and Roberta Smith. Betty will be fondly remembered by the entire Smith family. Besides her parents Betty was predeceased by a son David (1956) and by a sister Grace Kendrick and brother Gordon Kendrick along with brothers-in-law Wayne Smith and John Shaw. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Wildwood Care Center, Dr. Thornton and the staff at St. Marys Memorial Hospital and Stratford General Hospital for the care and compassion given to Betty.
