Ethel Phillipa Klea, age 91, passed away peacefully at People Care, Tavistock on August 9, 2015. Ethel was born in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island May 7, 1924 daughter of the late Phillip and Ethel Doyle. Beloved wife of the late Dalton Klea who predeceased her in 1986. Loving mother of Mary Klea and Deborah Klea. Dear sister of Richard Doyle (Doris). Also survived by a sister-in-law Eileen Doyle and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband Ethel was predeceased by brothers Jack and Ledwell Doyle and by sisters Mildred McLean, Eileen Fraser, Thelma Doyle and Shirley Walker. Ethel was a member of Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Stratford and the Catholic Women’s League. Babe sang with the Merry Islanders, was an instructor with Murray’s School of Dance and enjoyed Clog Dancing at Judy’s School of Dance. Babe enjoyed working as hostess with her husband at Dalton’s Restaurant and Catering. Friends and relatives may call at the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford on Wednesday, August 12, from 7-9 p.m. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, 50 Well Street, Stratford on Thursday at 11 a.m. Father Seejo John Celebrant. Interment at Avondale Cemetery.
