Jeannette Eybergen, age 78, passed away peacefully on December 10, 2015 at Stratford General Hospital surrounded by her loving family. In death, she joins her husband Dan, who she married October 31, 1959 and predeceased her on December 8, 2015. A devoted mother, Jeannette leaves to mourn her four children, MaryKay (Mike) Lobsinger, Rob (Dyan) Eybergen, Dan (Adrienne) Eybergen and Dave (Jane) Eybergen; Proud grandmother to Melissa, Mike, Isaac, Catherine, Kohan, Nolan, Talen, Tiffany, Brittany, Emily, Madelyn and, Zackery; great grandmother to Christina, Gabrielle, Jordan, Luke and Dana. Jeannette is survived by her siblings Gerry (Walt) Runstedler, Arlene Perring, Brian (Rienne) Austin, Dan (Peggy) Austin. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents Harold and Margaret (Sawdon) Austin, Jeannette was predeceased by her brother-in-law Ashley Perring. Jeannette dedicated her career to being an educator to many students in her 36 year tenure. Friends and relatives may call at W. G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford on Sunday December 13, 2015 from and 5-9 p.m. (CWL Prayers at 4:45 p.m.) Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, 96 Huron Street, Stratford on Monday, December 14, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Fr. Dick Bester will be Celebrant. Interment will be held in Avondale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers and as expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph’s Church Restoration Fund or the Alzheimer Society through the funeral home. 519.271.7411
