Tony was born in The Netherlands and has been a very proud Canadian since his immigration at the age of 19. After settling onto the farm outside of St. Pauls he became very involved in the Ontario Federation of Agriculture including serving as President. At St. Joseph’s church he served on Church Council and was a dedicated volunteer for both The Refugee Committee, often giving hands on help to recent immigrants, and the Mission committee. He was always dedicated to the unfortunate throughout the world. He also volunteered for over 20 years with the Canadian Cancer Society. Tony enjoyed curling, lawn bowling, bicycling, card playing, gardening and socializing in general. He was always very interested and involved in the activities of his children and grandchildren. Tony/Dad/Opa, you were the best husband, father and Opa that we could have ever asked for. Friends and relatives may call at the W.G.
