Jacqueline Barbara Boulais, age 82, of Stratford, passed away peacefully at her residence after a brief battle with cancer on Saturday, April 23, 2016. Born in Stratford, daughter of the late John and Lorraine (Lalonde) McGregor. Predeceased by her husband Jacques Boulais (2004). Jackie is survived by her best friend Tulip, brother-in-law Mel Brenneman, nieces Linda Brine, Kim Ballantyne, Michelle Boudreau, Lisa Tanner and husband Ryan, nephew Paul Ballantyne and great nieces and nephews Brad Ballantyne and wife Emily, Kassidy Ballantyne, Tyler Boudreau and wife Lindsay, Andrew Boudreau and Katie, Lindsay Ballantyne and Matt, Jordan Ballantyne, Devon Tanner and Morgan and Logan Tanner, along with special great great nephew Jackson Ballantyne whom she adored. Jackie worked at Canadian Fabricating for many years. She enjoyed spending time at her cottage and spending time with good friends; John and Gayle Golz and Jim and Judy Burns and always looked forward to her time spent with Jackson. Special thanks to Dr. Brooks, CCAC, the fantastic nurses from Care Partners and to Bonnie Plummer, extra special thanks to Janet Neeb for going above and beyond caring for Jackie, you were more than a caregiver, you were her friend. Jackie will be missed by many friends, neighbors and family. Besides her parents and husband, Jackie was predeceased by her sisters Katherine Brenneman and Marie Day and nephew Steve Brine. Friends and relatives are invited to a celebration of Jackies life on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 11 a.m. with visitation starting at 10 a.m., at the W. G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford.
