Loretta Smith, age 82, of Stratford passed away peacefully at Spruce Lodge on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. Born in St. Agatha, daughter of the late Emil and Olive (Fritz) Strub. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth Joseph Smith of 63 years married who predeceased her on September 8, 2015. Survived by her loving daughters; Kathleen White and husband Douglas, Sharon Ebel and husband Gerry and Susan Morke and husband Erik. Proud grandmother of Tammy Muschik and partner Kevin Brown, Gerry Ebel and wife Joanna, Julie Brenneman and husband Darryl and step-grandmother of Laura Morke and Erika Lickman and husband Rob. Great-grandmother of Stephannie Marlow and partner Jason Hergel, Michelle Marlow, Kyle Muschik, Gerry Ebel Jr, George Ebel, Scott Brenneman and step-great-grandmother of Blake Lickman, Keira Lickman and Olin Lickman. Great-great-grandmother of Mikayla McNaughton, Jaelynn Muschik and Cameron Hergel. Loretta will be remembered by her nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents and husband, Loretta was predeceased by a granddaughter Debra Marie Ebel and her sisters Theresa Logel, Rose Warden and Laura Strub. Friends and relatives may call at the W. G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford on Friday, October 7, 2016 from 6-8 p.m. (Parish prayers will take place at 5:45 p.m.) The Funeral Service will take place at the funeral home on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation 1 hour prior to the service.  Interment to follow in Avondale Cemetery (Stratford).
