Barbara Jenkins

Barbara Campbell-Jenkins passed away peacefully at the age of 82 on December 6, 2016, at Kingsway Lodge in St. Marys. She waged a long battle with cancer, which she faced with great courage and positivity. She left life in the same manner that she lived it full of joie de vivre and proud of her expansive family. Pre-deceased by her parents and her brother Robert, she is survived by her brother James Campbell (Gayle), her children David (Sharon) Jenkins, Barbara Jenkins, Ken (Carmen) Jenkins and Jill (Dennis) McKeown, her grandchildren Matthew, Maya, Jody (Darren), Jake (Jayda), Jordan (Kayla), Katie, Mikayla, Laura, and Logan, and great grandchildren Lincoln, Leo, Hayden and Miles, and many nieces and nephews. She was born in Windsor on November 12, 1934, the daughter of Alexander Campbell and Marie Gabrielle Homme. Mom was a talented pianist and avid card player who enjoyed her many friends from the Kiwanis Seniors Center. She loved music, all things Scottish, and had a wicked sense of humour. Thanks to the wonderful staff at Kingsway Lodge Nursing Home. A service in her memory will be held at the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford on Friday, December 9, 2016.
