Agnes (Patricia) Chandler passed away peacefully at Hillside Manor, R.R. #5, Stratford, Ontario, on Tuesday, January 3, 2017, at the age of 87. Pat was born in England, November 8, 1929, daughter of Thomas Quinn and the former Annie Aboyle, late of England. She immigrated to Canada in June 1950, and, on August 19, 1950, she married Albert James William Chandler who predeceased her on September 19, 2014. During WWII, as a child, Pat was evacuated to a convent in London and then to Devizes for her safety. Pat was employed as an Executive Assistant at Jack Hood School Supplies and Scholar’s Choice, and then as a Production Secretary at the Stratford Festival Theatre. She was well respected as a hard-working, efficient employee. Pat enjoyed cooking, baking and needlework. Pat is survived by her daughter Christine Chandler, her son Paul Chandler and his wife Clara Chandler, all of Stratford; her grandchildren Mark Chandler and his wife Brieana DiMarco, London, Ontario; Lisa Chandler, Kingston, Ontario; three great-grandchildren Isabelle, Alice and Liam Chandler, London, Ontario; her sisters Eileen Howden and her husband Fred, Immingham, England; Nora Simpson and her husband Frank, Vancouver, BC; brother-in-law Peter Chandler and his wife June, Stratford; sister-in-law June Chandler, London, Ontario. Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by siblings John Kane, Kitty Kane, Patrick Quinn, Frank Quinn, Thomas Quinn; sister-in-law Margaret Bart and her husband Ralph and brother-in-law Richard Chandler. We would like to thank Dr. Greg Kenyon and all staff at Hillside Manor for their kindness and compassion toward Pat and her family. Friends and family may call at the W.G. Reception to follow. Cremation has taken place. A private family interment will be held at a later date at Avondale Cemetery, Stratford.
