Patrick Leo Givlin, age 85, of RR#1 Dublin, passed away peacefully at Hillside Manor on Wednesday, February 22, 2017. Born on September 12, 1931 in McKillop Township, son of the late Ambrose Givlin and the former Agnes Flanagan. Patrick farmed all his life with his late brother Joseph on the family farm and was a faithful member of St. Patricks Roman Catholic Church in Dublin. Dear brother of Margaret OBrien, Sister Leona Givlin, C.S.J., Rose (Frank) Whaling, Marie Givlin and Viola (Harold) Moser. Dear uncle to several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers James, Joseph and John Givlin, sisters Anna Nolan, Teresa Laverty, Rita Mullin and Ursula Givlin, brothers-in-law Dennis Nolan, William OBrien, Wilfred Laverty and Wilfred Mullin and by his sister-in-law Rita Givlin. Friends and relatives may call at St. Patricks Roman Catholic Church, 3931 Perth Road 180, Dublin on Saturday February 25, 2017 from 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m., followed by a reception. Interment in the Parish Cemetery in the spring.
