Michael McIlroy

Michael Edward McIlroy, age 73, of Stratford passed away suddenly at the Stratford General Hospital on August 20, 2017. Mike was born in Stratford, January 2, 1944, son of the late Hugh and Bernice (Dunseith) McIlroy. Beloved husband of Sheila (Wilkinson). Loving father of Stephanie Famme (Franklin). Grandfather of Hannah and Roddy MacDonald, Andrew, Megan and Kaitlyn Famme. Also survived by a brother John McIlroy (Carol), a brother-in-law Ed Wilkinson (Andrea) and several nieces and nephews. Mike was a teacher at Shakespeare Public School for most of his career. A private graveside service will be held at Avondale Cemetery.
