Marjorie Anne Garneau, age 77, passed away peacefully at Stratford General Hospital on Thursday, October 12, 2017. Marjorie was born in Stratford, daughter of the late Patrick and Myrtle (Fountain) Walsh. Predeceased by her husband Louis Garneau (October 13, 2000). Loving and proud mother of Annette Garneau of Stratford and Michele and husband Joseph Craddock of Waterloo. Dear grandmother of Michael, Laura and Matthew. Survived by her siblings; Joan (Paul) Sheppard, Tom Walsh, Irene (Barry) Lydon, Michael (Francine) Walsh, Cathy Valcke (Vince Tiano). Marjorie will be fondly remembered by her sister-in-law Kris Walsh, the entire Garneau family, and along with many nieces and nephews and their families. Besides her parents and husband, Marjorie was predeceased by brothers; Joey in infancy and Martin Walsh along with a brother-in-law Greg Valcke and her father and mother-in-law. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford on Monday, October 16, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at 11:00 a.m., at St. Josephs Roman Catholic Church, 96 Huron Street, Stratford. Rev. Fr. Richard Bester will be celebrant. Interment to follow in Avondale Cemetery.
