Edith had the personality and the smile that could light up any room. She genuinely loved and cared for others and that love was reciprocated. Throughout her long life Edith enjoyed dancing, bowling, cards, scrabble but above all interacting with family. She enjoyed watching her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren in all of their activities. Her life was about giving and she was instrumental in the cementing of relationships with her Holden family, her Hastings family and her large family of friends.  She had a special love for her Anne Hathaway friends and we are all truly indebted to the team there for providing a loving home and care for our mother in her later years.  Edith was a member of St. Paul’s Anglican Church and the ACW.
