It is with heavy hearts the family of Nola Jacqueline Caslick announce her passing on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at her residence in Woodstock. Born in Stratford, daughter of the late William and Helen (Nimens) Porter. Much loved aunt of Jennipher (Tom) Moser, Stephanie Porter, Billie Joe Porter and Mandy (Spencer) Clark. Great aunt of Alexis, Madison, Keegan, Josh and Kylie. Nola will be remembered by her sister-in-law Barb Porter and cousins, Den Ensom (Colleen) and Fred Ensom (Juhli). Besides her parents, Nola was predeceased by her only sibling William Bell “Beaver” Porter (2016) and special aunt Helen Ensom. Nola was employed for many years with National Trust and later Bank of Nova Scotia, most recently, she was self-employed owning Designs by Nola completing interior and landscape design.  She was a spark of life and will be truly missed by her many friends, relatives and working associates. Friends and relatives may call at the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford, on Sunday, February 4, 2018 from  12 p.m. until the time of the service at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow.  A private family interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, and as expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Stratford Perth Rotary Hospice Foundation or a charity of one’s choice through the funeral home. 519.271.7411
