Ralph Pike, age 82, of Stratford, passed away suddenly at his residence on Monday, February 26, 2018. Born in Grand Falls, Newfoundland, son of the late Alexander and Alma (Templeman) Pike.  Life companion and true love of Dianne (Parkes) Pike of 62 years. Proud and loving father of John (Christie) Pike, Jodi (David) Doxey, June (Roger) Leitch and Papa to Megan, Sarah, Jessie, Zach, Morgan, Kate, Carter, Mitchell and Andrew. Ralph will be remembered by his sisters; Marie Green and Kay (Joe) Tracey and sisters-in-law Joan Martin, Marie Smith, Marion Walsh, Gisele Mills and brother-in-law Robert Anderson. Ralph moved to St. Marys as a teenager. He lived with a couple who helped shape the true gentleman Ralph was, and he considered them his parents; Helen and Ken Mills and their son Don Mills. Besides his parents, Ralph was predeceased by his mother and father-in-law John and Ruth Parkes, Helen and Ken Mills, his brother Walter Pike, Don Mills, sister Daphne Anderson, brothers-in-law Jim Green, Jack Martin, Ron Smith, Joe Walsh and special family friend John Kilgallon.  Ralph successfully owned and operated Pike’s Service Centre Ltd. for many years in Stratford, winning numerous awards through the community as well as nationally.  Generously donating many years as President of the Kinsmen Club and his time on The Stratford General Hospital Board of Directors.  Family and friends may call at the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford on Friday, March 2, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A private family funeral service will take place.
