Connie Jan Hobson, age 68, of Stratford passed away suddenly at home on April 22, 2018. Born in Alliston, June 29, 1949, daughter of Rona Dunstan of Orangeville and the late Jack Dunstan.

Jan graduated from Teachers College in 1972 and taught in Dufferin and Perth Counties. She was a volunteer with Girl Guides, having been District Commissioner and most recently was known as the Brown Owl to the guiding community.

Beloved wife for 46 years of Brian Hobson who predeceased her March 14, 2018. Loving mother of son Rusty (Barb) and their children Ken, Jessica and Jack; daughter Julie Hassanali (Kester) and their children Ethen and Emma. Dear sister of Harry Dunstan (Cathy) and Judy Magdy (Michael). Also survived by sister-in-law Susan Eckert (Mike) and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother-in-law Jerry Hobson and her parents-in-law John and Vivian Hobson.

Friends and relatives may call at the W.G.
