Grace Pauli Tuer, age 84, of Stratford passed away peacefully at the Stratford General Hospital on June 17, 2018. Born in Milverton, December 12, 1933, daughter of the late James and Gertrude (Pauli) Scrimgeour.

Beloved wife of the late Donald Tuer who predeceased her October 19, 2011. Loving mother of Chris Brooks, Heather Smith-deceased (Brian), Kathy Crapper (Brian), Joe Tuer (Sally), Margo Norman (Bill), Mike Tuer (Sue), Marilyn Blewett (Jim). Grandmother of 17 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Helen Brenneman, Ruth Stover and Katherine Kipfer. Also survived by sisters-in-law Marie Knowles, Wanda Tuer, Lorna, Pauline and Marion Scrimgeour and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers John, William and Robert Scrimgeour and by sisters Margaret Scrimgeour and Francis Farquharson.

Visitation at the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford on Tuesday, June 26, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Rev. Keith Reynolds will officiate. Interment at Avondale Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to charity of one’s choice through the funeral home. 519.271.7411
