Terence John Fletcher, age 70, of Stratford passed away peacefully at the Stratford General Hospital on June 5, 2018. Born in England, June 30, 1947, son of the late Robert and Beryl (Simmonds) Fletcher, Terry and his family immigrated to Canada in the 1960’s.

Terry was a graduate of Chester School of Art and Hornsey College of Art, London, England. He published Britannia Magazine in Canada from 1983-2003, a magazine for British ex-patriots. He was currently serving as a United Church Minister with Londesborough United Church and Knox United Church, Auburn.

Beloved husband of Rev. Mary Fletcher (nee Hutchison). Loving father of Jennifer Kristen (Andre), Iain Fletcher (Alina), Dave Fletcher (Laura) and Heather Fletcher. Grandfather of Cole, Anna, Charlotte and Sophie. Also survived by a sister Pam Rameau, sisters-in-law Jean MacKay (Hal), Ruth Hewlin (Guy), Helen Trombley and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Londesborough United Church on Saturday, June 16, from noon until the time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. A reception will follow at the Londesborough Lions Community Hall. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Londesborough United Church or Knox United Church, Auburn through the W.G.
