Bruce Denzil Sharpe, age 71, of Stratford passed away peacefully at the Huron Residential Hospice, Clinton on August 19, 2018. 

Born in Shawville, Quebec December 21, 1946, son of the late Lennis and Hazel (Way) Sharpe. Bruce worked in Quebec, The Prairies and Ontario as a crane operator for 51 years and was currently employed with Armtec in Mitchell.

 Beloved husband of Mary Ellen Arthur. Loving father of Murray Sharpe, Laura-Lee Bailey (Taylor), Aaron Sharpe (Ranvir) and Ashley Sharpe (Barb). Grandfather of Virginia, Jadon and Cassidy Bailey, Hailey, Tristan and Carter Sharpe. Dear brother of Marie Howard, Lorne Sharpe (Edrie), Brent Sharpe (Audrey), Clayton Sharpe (Barb), Ron Sharpe (Florence) and Joy Dumachel (Claude). Brother-in-law of Ted Arthur (Irene), Doug Arthur (Agnes), Brian Arthur, Susan Arthur and Clifford Arthur (Louvie). Also survived by many nieces and nephews and by his K9 companions Brandy, Monty and Sherman. Predeceased by a brother-in-law Hugh Howard.

 Cremation has taken place. Family and friends will be received at the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford on Saturday, September 8, 2018 where a memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Interment at Avondale Cemetery.
