Kenneth Barry Ayling, age 75, of London, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at LHSC – Victoria Hospital. Born in London, son of late Bert and Evelyn (Klemn) Ayling. Survived by his loving wife Marilyn (Lane) Ayling, a step-daughter Brenda (Monger) (Tim) McDonnell of Stratford.  Survived by his grandchildren, Quintin (Sara) McDonnell, Cullen McDonnell (Sarah Thorne), Lance McDonnell and great-grandson Remco McDonnell.  Ken will be remembered by his siblings; Wayne (Fran) Ayling, Terry (Linda) Ayling, Phyllis (Gord) Munroe and by his sister-in-law Liz Cornelious and brother-in-law Gerald Lane and many nieces and nephew and great nieces and nephews. Ken was a long time employee of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 793 and 955 before his retirement.  He enjoyed playing golf, bowling and was a member of the Kiwanis International Club in London where he volunteered at Victoria Hospital. Besides his parents, Ken was predeceased by his Uncle Doug Ayling and brother-in-law Doug Cornelious. Also, in keeping with Ken’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will be held on Friday, August 24, 2018 from 1-4 p.m. at 643 Headley Drive, London, ON. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Parkinson Society through the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford, ON. 519.271.7411
