Proud mother of Nancy (Paul) Culliton of Stratford and Tom Landers of Mississauga. Dorothy was born February 18, 1930 to James and Charlotte Johnston (Hewitt). Survived by her Sister-in-law Susan (Helm) Johnston of London, and brothers-in-law Ken and his wife Edna Landers of London, and Raymond Landers of Sault Ste. Marie. She is predeceased by her siblings George and his wife Cassie, Kathleen (Kal) and her husband Lorne McTavish, Joan and her husband Bud Haveling, Jim and his wife Muriel and Tom Johnston. Sisters and brothers-in-law: Dorothy and her husband Stewart Crew, Jean and her husband Frank Bishop, Mae and her husband Roy Taylor, Douglas, Gerald, and Jean Landers. Dorothy is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, all of whom know in their hearts that they were her favourite. Mom has been blessed by a large circle of friends, from all the stages of her life High School, Softball, Basketball, Golf, Curling, Trivia, and Bridge. The girls of Bunny’s Rotanettes and the Kroehler girls fastball teams were remained especially dear to her. She was so thrilled to have shared her ball playing journey with her sisters Kal and Joan, winning a few Ontario Championships along the way.  Those memories and friendships have lasted a lifetime.  Dorothy was always the keeper of memories through the years, how tragic that in her later years, dementia would take those memories away. Our family would like to sincerely thank the excellent staffs of Spruce Lodge and Cedarcroft Place for the exceptional care and love they extended to mom both in her life and in her passing.
