Ross John Stanley Mulligan, age 51, of Stratford passed away peacefully at home on December 09, 2018. Born in Stratford, son of the late Ronald and Dolores (Dee) Mulligan.
Loving brother of Cindy McCauley, Janice Armes (2014) – Jim (Helen), Todd Mulligan (Bonnie), Leah Morrison (Brian). Uncle of Aislinn (Greg), Meredith (Ryan) and Amelia McCauley (Theron), Glynis Carroll (Ian), Ian Armes (Leah), Melinda and Neil Mulligan, Matthew and Elana Morrison (Curtis). great uncle of Ivy and Azalea Zimmer, Emma, Allyson and Liam Bell, James Armes, Lucas and Evelyn Morrison and Georgia Jean Carroll. Also survived by aunts and uncles Carole Martin, Frank Toms, Ron Toms, Brenda Zebley, all of California and special family friend Louise Godwin.
Ross knew every musician within a hundred miles and had shared the stage with just about all of them over the years. He was warm and funny and easy to work with. Ross could easily switch between bass and guitar. His wonderful feel for the music he was playing made his style very soulful. We will all miss his friendship, his talent, his sense of humour and easy going nature. Ross truly was one of a kind in every sense of the word and he treated everyone like an old friend. Our hearts ache for you Ross and if there’s a rock and roll heaven, then I know now that they really do have a hell of a band.
