Norman Walter Jacobs, age 86, of Stratford, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on December 7, 2019. Born in Stratford, son of the late Clarence and Ernestine Jacobs.

Norm was well known for his commitment to the bodybuilding world. Normand his lifelong friend the late Jim Morris owned and operated their bodybuilding promotion Jamor Enterprises for 35 years. Their combined efforts and friendship set the stage for bodybuilding to be well represented in Canada.

Predeceased by his wife Jayne (Wright) in 2000. Loving father of Beth (Paul) Wickenheiser, Bryan Jacobs (Tammy), Norma-Jayne Jacobs (Osmany) and David Jacobs. Grandfather of Terry Shipway, Jayson Jacobs, Timathy and Colin Wickenheiser, Brooklyn Ensinger, Dakota, Felicity, Devlon, Braylon and Bryson Jacobs. Also survived by brother Denis Jacobs (Marion), brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Maize Jacobs, Donald Wright (Sandra), Bill Wright (Mary), family friend Allison Brown and several nieces and nephews. 

Predeceased by son Joe (2012), grandson Jeremy Wickenheiser (2015), siblings Ralph (1954), Tom (2005), Pauline Watson (2018) and nephew David (2008) and niece Lesley Graham (2011). 

Friends and family will be received at the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford on Sunday, December 15, from 1-4 p.m. Spring interment at McNeil Cemetery, Priceville.
