Kenneth R. A. Roth, born February 14, 1938 in Stratford, to the late John ‘Jack’ Frederick Roth and the late Louisa Charlotte May Betts, passed away peacefully on February 19, 2020 at the age of 82.  Predeceased by his loving wife Joyce E. P. Neeb (1986) whom he married May 31, 1958. Ken is survived by his children: Faye (Roy) Docking of Stratford, Jim (Karen) Roth of Waterloo, Jean (Dan) Weber of Courtice and Richard (Teresa) Roth of Sebringville. He is also survived by his 12 grandchildren: Emily (Nick) Keating, Benton (Nicole) Docking, Elissa (Brandon) Kok, Erin Docking (Sebastian), Alex Roth (Kaila), Mitchell (Emily) Roth, Liam (Melissa) Roth, Nicholena Weber, Jessica (Taylor) Sellars, Sarah Roth, Julia Roth and Emma Roth and 8 great-grandchildren.  Ken will also be missed by sisters and brothers-in-law: Diana Roth, Elsa Cornish, Ron and Donna Brenneman and Donna and Irwin Pudrycki. Predeceased by his mother-in-law Isabella M. Satchell (Neeb)(nee Riehl), father-in-law Irvin K. Neeb, step-father-in-law George A. Satchell, brothers John “Jackie” (Liz) Roth and George Roth, sisters Helen (Neville) Clarke, Teresa (John) Schambach, Winnifred (Harold) Clarke and brother-in-law Victor Neeb. Ken was a devoted member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Stratford. He worked 22 years at Blackstone and 22 years at Fram before retiring in 1999. His favourite hobbies and pastimes were woodworking, golf, crib and was always ready for a game of Aggravation. Visitation at the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford on Tuesday, February 25, 2020 from 1 – 3 p.m. and 6 – 8 p.m. Visitation will continue on Wednesday at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 115 Cambria Street, Stratford from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. with Pastor Matthew Fenn officiating. Following the interment in Avondale Cemetery, a reception will take place at the church. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation or St. Peter’s Lutheran Church may be made through the funeral home. 519.271.7411
