Shari Lyn (Zehr) Langis

October 18, 1971 – May 19, 2020

It is difficult to summarize a life lived, especially one lived with as much strength, joy, determination and love as Shari’s. Shari finished her earthly journey in the arms of her husband Gerry and now her spirit continues to dance and sing praises to her Heavenly Father and her King and comforter Jesus Christ.

She loved to garden (flowers always put a smile on her face), she loved to renovate and make our home beautiful, she loved to create, everything she touched she made better. Shari was well known for her magnificent Cakes and Gingerbread masterpieces, many knew her as “The Cake Lady”.

Her enthusiasm, energy and beautiful spirit will be missed by everyone who has ever known her but especially by her husband Gerry and family, stepchildren Paul and Sarah. Parents Gordon & Vivian (Deceased) Zehr (Donna), brothers Dan (Betty), Greg (Dawn), Gary (Michael), mother-in-law and father-in-law Brenda (Bogie) Babich, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Alan (Lori), Barry (Margaret), Todd, Tanya, Martine, Tina (Joseph) and many nephews and nieces, and of course, her church family.

Cancer could not defeat Shari, it could not take her Spirit or Soul, or the freedom she walked in. Shari once wrote…

“Walking in the freedom of Jesus Christ is Remarkable, it cannot be bought, and it’s worth cannot be measured, it is Purely Free and Worth more than gold, search for it!”

She will be missed profoundly!
