Grace Marie Crisp, the former Grace Marie Luft, age 96, of Greenwood Court, formerly of 295 Willow Street and 197 Charles St, Stratford, passed away on Tuesday, November 10, 2020. Beloved wife of the late Robert George Crisp, whom she married January 19, 1946 and who passed away January 28, 1994, married 48 years. Born in Detroit, Michigan, January 18, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Amelia (Luft) Seip. Her mother passed away when Grace was 17 days old. Her grandparents Henry and Emma Luft of New Hamburg adopted and raised Grace. She lived in New Hamburg until moving to Stratford in 1942 to go to Business College. She had been employed at the Avon Knit, Thomas E. Henry, MTC licence then Ministry of Transportation and Communications for 21 years retiring in 1986. She was a member of Jubilee Temple #12 Pythian Sisters of Stratford since 1956. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church of Stratford. Surviving is one son Larry of Stratford. Son-in-law Terry McNaughton of Stratford. Five grandchildren erica and Erin Crisp, Daniel, Jason, Samantha McNaughton all of Stratford. One step-grandson Brett McNaughton, three great-grandsons Jason, Shea and Kayden, two great granddaughters Mikayla and Sydney. Predeceased by her parents, husband Robert, mother and father-in-law Robert and Emma Crisp, sister-in-law Gladys Mitchell, a daughter Susan McNaughton, daughter -in-law Olga Crsip. The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude, for the wonderful care and compassion given to Grace at Ann Hathaway Retirement Residence and Greenwood Court, it is very much appreciated. The family is celebrating Grace’s life with a private funeral service and burial.  As expressions of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the Arthritis Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation, Zion Lutheran Church or a charity of one’s choice through the funeral home. 519.271.7411.
