Mrs. Leona Mary Fleming, age 92, formerly of Brant Street, passed away peacefully at Spruce Lodge on November 18, 2020. Born in Marystown, Newfoundland daughter of the late Ernest and Cecelia (Green) Walsh. 

Beloved wife of the late Edward Joseph Fleming who predeceased her in 1996. Loving mother of Ernest (Liz), Kevin (Linda), Paul, Edward (Carol) and Maryanne Fleming (Gerald). Grandmother of Jason (Cindy), Chad (Tara), Sheri Fleming, Leanne Atkinson (Michael), Tarra Fleming (Paul), Jeff (Becky), Steve (Jen), Jenny Evans (Mark), Craig, Ashley Graul (Jay), Jasmine and Aaron Baer (Chelsea), 24 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. Also survived by sisters-in-law Pat Chapman, Joan Weir, Gertrude Lawson, Donna Fleming, Helen Sharron brother-in-law Ron Archer and many nieces and nephews. 

Predeceased by siblings Loretta Grant (Al), Gertrude Power (Leo), Moses Walsh, Ernest Walsh (Marj), Ernestine Trembley (Claude), Cecilia McInnes (Stewart) 

Visitation at the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford on Sunday, November 22, from 1-5 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Church, 96 Huron Street, Stratford on Monday, November 23, at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Avondale Cemetery.
