Luella Blair, 79, of Stratford, was delivered peacefully into the arms of her Saviour on Sunday, November 15th, twenty-three years to the day that her precious Mom passed away.

Luella lived life courageously and faced her rare and often misunderstood genetic disease with a laugh and a smile on her face, as her battle allowed. Many of her Doctors were quick to say that she was an inspiration and example of how humour, determination and faith can override a diagnosis. A huge thank you to the many Doctors, Nurses, PSW’s and her Assisted Living Crew who showed her such care and kindness.

Luella is survived by her much-loved Granddaughters Dawn Klumpenhower and Amber Rawn, Daughter Rachelle Ostrom-Damen, Sister Mona (Rod) Lovell, Niece and Nephews Erin, Steven, Eric and Rick Mann. She was predeceased by her Mother and Father Violet and William Blair, Brother Charles Blair and Sister Betty Mann. Luella will be deeply missed by her longtime friend, Deborah Wood.

Donations in honour of her life, may be made to Luella’s chosen charities – Operation Smile Canada, First Nations Education Foundation and The Leprosy Mission Canada. At Luella’s request, there will be a private interment at Milverton cemetery.
