Stanley Ross Schneider

It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of our beloved Husband, Dad and Grandpa. Stan passed away at Stratford General Hospital with family by his side on December 26, 2020 in his 97th year.

Born in Ellice Township on February 28, 1924 to Conrad Schneider and Lydia Wilhelm, Stan will be deeply missed by his beloved wife of 71 years, Edith (née Gross); daughters Susan (Terry) Flynn, Linda (Erik) Vaartnou,  Jennifer (Mark) Zornes and Nancy (Louis) Eckert; and grandchildren Galen, Kaylie (Edgar), Tiiu, Levi, Khonrad and Anneleis.  He is also survived by sister Kathleen Riehl and sister-in-law Betty Gross and was pre-deceased by brothers Ken (Viola) Schneider and Morris (Madelene) Schneider and brother-in-law Ted Riehl. Stan will be missed by the entire extended Schneider and Gross families and many friends and neighbours in the Stratford – Sebringville area.
