Denise Elizabeth Marsh, age 85, of Stratford passed away peacefully at Stratford General Hospital on Friday, January 22, 2021. Born in St. Boniface, Manitoba, daughter of the late James Thompson and the former Margaret Troutlein. Beloved mother of George Delooze, Susanne Burlingham (Ralph), Dennis Delooze (Bonnie), Louise Toman (Brent) and Tina Ayers (David). Dear grandmother to 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her brother Edward Thompson and sister Michelle McAndrew. Denise worked for many years at and retired from Canadian Fabricated Products having worked previously with the Stratford Festival as a seamstress and the Kroehler Manufacturing Company. She was an active member of the Catholic Church community in Stratford. She also volunteered for many years with various groups including Meals on Wheels, Children’s Aid Society, Stratford General Hospital, Neighbourly Services, Victim Services, the Catholic Women’s League, her church choir and others. Because of COVID provincial regulations, she will have a private Mass of Christian Burial for immediate family only on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at 11 am at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Stratford.
