Elizabeth Ann Strahm (Youngblut), of Stratford passed away peacefully at home on January 7, 2021 at the age of 76. Born in Stratford, daughter of the late Rudolph and Pearl Youngblut. Survived by her true love and best friend of 56 years Ronald Strahm. Loving mother of Steven (Kim) Strahm and Christopher (Josie) Strahm. Proud grandmother of Stephanie (Derek), Katie (Jordan), Christian, Jakob and Ayslinn and great grandmother to Max. Elizabeth will be fondly remembered by her siblings Diane (Bob) Capling, Bonnie (Wayne) Debus and Gary (Iris) Youngblut, sisters-in-law Linda (Ken) Gerber and Sue (Bruce) Paleczny along many with nieces, nephews and cousins. Beth was a devoted member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church. She loved her family and making many delicious dishes for get togethers. She enjoyed many trips with family and friends camping, hiking, outdoor activities and enjoyed gardening, nature and flowers. Her beautiful smile and kind spirit will be greatly missed by all. A private family celebration of life will be held at the W. G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at 11 am. Interment in the spring. Beth’s service will be livestreamed and is available below her obituary on the funeral home website.
