Everdina Hendrika Fielding (18 November 1938-03 January 2021)

Eve was released from over two years of suffering, endured with utmost courage and dignity to a place of peace.  With beautiful memories of Eve to guide us on the path we now follow, Eve leaves behind her loving husband, Terry of Stratford; sister Ria; and children Paul, Marleen (Scott), Max and Debbie (Allan).  Devoted and loving Oma of Michelle (Pawel), Iain (Emma), William (Amber), Mitchel, Brooke, Lydia and Ethan.

Eve was predeceased by her parents Lijntje and Willem Looijaard of Holland; brother Gerrit and nephew, Ronnie; daughter-in-law Marita and grandson, Griffen.

“I give you this one thought to keep.

I am with you still- do not weep.

I am a thousand winds that blow.

I am the diamond glints on snow.

I am the sunlight on ripened grain.

When you awake in the morning’s hush,

I am the swift uplifting rush of quiet birds in flight.

I am the soft stars that shine at night.

Do not think of me as gone-

I am with you still in each new dawn.”

As expressions of sympathy donations may be made in Eve’s memory to the Rotary Hospice Stratford Perth and to Pancreatic Cancer Research through the W. G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford, ON. 519.271.7411. www.wgyoungfuneralhome.com
