Kathleen “Kay” June Irene Ennis, age 96, of Exeter and formerly of Stratford, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 18, 2021 at South Huron Hospital. Born in Stratford, daughter of the late Jesse and Doris (Wilson) Ennis. Kay was a long-time employee of Bell Canada before her retirement. She was also a very active member of Tavistock Bible Chapel before moving to Exeter to be closer to her family. She then became involved with the Exeter Bible Fellowship for roughly the last 17 years. Kay cultivated many lasting friendships over the years, that she held very closely. Kay is survived by her sister-in-law Elsie Ennis. Besides her parents, Kay was predeceased by her brother Frank Ennis and her sister-in-law Rose Smith. A private graveside service will take place at Avondale Cemetery (Stratford). As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Bible Society through the W. G.
