Andrea Gail Schilder, age 60, of Stratford, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at Victoria Campus of LHSC-Critical Care Trauma Centre. Born in Cooksville, Ontario daughter of Bernice (McNeeland) Baker and her late father Fred Baker. True love and best friend of Brian Schilder, whom she married on June 21, 1997 in Stratford. Andrea will be fondly remembered by her siblings, Patti (Mike) Sullivan, Steve (Shannon) Baker, Keatha (Paul) Damato and nieces and nephews; Hayden, Megan, Bianca, Hope, Nicholas and Grace, as well as Tracy and Walter Lowe of Victoria, B.C. Andrea will be missed sadly by the Schilder family along with close friends Trish and Patrick O’Reilly of Milton. An avid poker player, Andrea will be missed by the girls’ poker gang (Karen, Allison, Nancy, Pat, and Sharon). Andrea was an employee with Bank of Nova Scotia at the Mortgage Centre in Stratford for a number of years. Besides her father, Andrea was predeceased by her mother and father-in-law Gerda and Michel Schilder, as well as grandparents Bill and Isabel McNeelands and Walter and Violet Baker and Andrea’s matron honour Peggy Fiddy. The family would like to thank Dr. Sanjay Mehta and Jessica Barre of LHSC as well as the nurses and doctors of the CCTC for their care and compassion during Andrea’s hospitalization.  In keeping with Andrea’s wishes cremation has taken place, and interment will take place in Avondale Cemetery (Stratford). As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to LHSC-Victoria Hospital-Pulmonary Hypertension Unit or Stratford General Hospital Foundation through the W. G.
