Children Rob and wife Jennifer, Kelly and husband Mark Durand; step daughters Yvonne and Dennis Roth, Charlotte and Cory Claypole, Krystal and fiancé Matt Duff. Pete was always extremely proud of his 13 grandchildren, Mitchell, Kirsten and Dylan Schellenberger, Avery, Callum, Beckett and Alexander Durand, Braeden, Connor, Carter and Zachary Roth, Chelsea and Olivia Claypole and as often as possible was cheering them on from the side lines at their hockey and baseball games or watching dance recitals. Pete is survived by his mother Violet Cook; sisters Rona Wilson, Janet and Jim McNichol, Sherry and Leo Van de Wetering, Debbie and Paul Moffat, Wendy and Mike Holman; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Audrey Schultz, Ray and Brenda Schultz, Delmar and Janet Schultz and many cousins including Richard who was always more of a brother to Pete. Pete was predeceased by his father Ron, step father Ralph Cook, brothers Mark and Doug, brothers-in-law Floyd Schultz, Dennis Wilson, nephew Peter Schultz and many special aunts and uncles.

Pete worked at Samsonite for over 30 years until his retirement. He was a proud member of the Milverton Lions Club where he enjoyed working with club members to get ideas and projects into place. He was proud to be part of a team that completed the Lions Tree of Light, radar speed sign, Lions Little Libraries and many other projects in trying to make Milverton and the surrounding community a better place to live. Pete made many good friends at Lions and was always most happy when he could lend a helping hand.
