Elizabeth Pearl Leturneau, age 74, passed away suddenly at the Stratford General Hospital on Saturday, March 20, 2021. Born in Glace Bay, Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, daughter of the late Angus and Evelyn (Hall) Myers. Proud and loving mother of Audra (Steve) Boersen and Chantel Leturneau (Chris). Grandmother to her two adored granddaughters, Adrianna (Tanner) and Olivia (Jon). Elizabeth will be fondly remembered by her siblings Marlyn (Glen) Allin, Angus (Gloria) Myers and her many nieces and nephews. Beth was a dedicated employee of the TD Bank for 25+ years, loved to spend time with her family and friends, was an avid reader and a had a love of British television. She suffered from illness most of her life but her determination and strong Christian faith gave her the strength to endure. The family would like to thank the Doctors, Nurses and Staff of the Stratford General Hospital Emergency Department and Critical Care Unit for their compassionate and supportive care. Besides her parents, Beth was predeceased by her siblings George, Jude, Louise and Darlene. Visitation will be held at the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford on Thursday, March 25, from 6-8 PM. Those who wish to visit with the family must call the funeral home and make an appointment. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Church, 96 Huron Street, Stratford on Friday, March 26, at 10 AM followed by interment at the Avondale Cemetery. Those who wish to attend the Mass must call the funeral home to book their attendance. Due to Covid restrictions and concerns, please note that the family completely respects everyone’s decision on attendance. The seating capacity at the church is limited.
