Karen Hazel Mogk, age 76, of Stratford, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at Rotary Hospice Stratford Perth. Karen was a strong-willed tenacious woman that fought her debilitating disease with dignity and class. Karen worked for many years at Towers department store and later at Shoppers Drug Mart before her retirement.  Karen leaves her wonderful husband of 45 years; Robert Mogk and her much loved children: Kevin (Sherri) Hartman, Rob (Tennile) Mogk and daughter-in-law Laura Hartman. Proud and loving grandmother of Nathanael Hartman (Ember), Kylie (Iyin) Stephens, Mikayla Hartman, Emma Hartman, Hannah Mogk and Blake Mogk. Karen will be fondly remembered by her brother Garnie (Edna) Diehl, her sisters-in-law Agnes Diehl and Mabel Diehl and brother-in-law Harold Jantzi and her many nieces and nephews. Robert and the family would like to sincerely thank the doctors, nurses, staff and volunteers of  ALS Society, Care Partners, Stratford General Hospital, St. Marys Memorial Hospital and Rotary Hospice for all the wonderful care and compassion given to Karen, it will never be forgotten. Besides her parents, Karen was predeceased by her son Mark Hartman her brothers Ronald and Donald Diehl and her sister Edna Jantzi. In keeping with Karen’s wishes, the family will celebrate her life with a private service, and when time permits a celebration of Karen’s life will take place at a later date.
