With profound sadness we share the news of the passing of Beverly Brenda Rakoczy (nee Burtenshaw) of Stratford on Saturday May 1st, 2021 at St. Mary’s Hospital, Kitchener in her 67th year.

Darling wife of 49 years to Frank Rakoczy, Mother to Angela (Corey) Lindner, Lisa (Matt) Kuechler, Stefan Rakoczy and Andreas Rakoczy. Loving Nana to her 5 grandchildren Megan, Liam, Carter, Hayden and Marissa. Survived by her siblings Judy (Paul) McColm, William (Sonia) Burtenshaw, and Susan Mills. Beverly is reunited with her parents John James Burtenshaw, Lilian Margaret Burtenshaw/McIntosh and Step Father Russell McIntosh along with siblings Diane, John, Ronald, and Robert.

Beverly was a faithful member of the New Apostolic Church supporting her husband in the pastoral care of the youth, and in their local congregation. Beverly had a unique capacity for loving whoever needed it the most.  She excelled as a health care worker where she found great joy sharing her caring heart and helping the most vulnerable. Beverly cherished her family and was the driving force arranging family gatherings and trips to bring everyone together.  She treasured every moment she could spend with those she loved. Her legacy of love has blessed us with memories that will carry us through every moment of sorrow.
