Oliver Gerrit Zorgdrager, age 87, of Stratford, passed away peacefully Country Meadows retirement Home, Brunner on February 25, 2022. Oliver was born in Ijmuiden, Holland, son of the late Cornelius and Jansje Zorgdrager and was proud to come to Canada in 1957. 

Oliver worked for Gaffney Construction for almost 50 years, He was a member of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church where he had been an Elder and Board Member. He served in many positions over the years with the Masonic Lodge and Order of the Eastern Star. 

Beloved husband for 58 years of Dorothy (Ward). Loving father of Mark (Kelly) and Dave (Sheri). Loving grandpa and opa of Dustin (Corrina), Devynn (Luke Harmer), Dawson, Stephanie (Mike) and great granddaughters Penelope and Madelyn. Brother of Gerrit (Allie), Hendrina Steenbeck, Marianne, Jansje Hess (Ruud). Brother-in-law of Arlene Zorgdrager. Also survived by many nieces and nephews in Canada, Holland and Brazil. 

Predeceased by brothers Case (Diene), Albert (Corrie), Dick (Norah), sisters Johanna Zorgdrager, Janneke de Baare (Herman) and brother-in-law Kenneth Ward.
