Nancy Carolyn Parsons, 82 years of age of Stratford Ontario, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2022 at the Rotary Hospice Stratford Perth, after fighting a difficult battle with liver cancer, and is finally at rest.

Daughter of the late Viola and Emmanuel Schroeder and mother of Jason (Sherrie), Randy (Sue), mother in-law of Wendy (Tony), grandmother of Cassy, Brandon, Cameron and Taylor, and great grandmother of Ariella.

Mom enjoyed working in a factory environment for several years until she retired, but she couldn’t stop there, so she took on another full-time position at Tim Hortons. Nancy was truly a work-aholic! Our mother was one of strongest willed / independent women to walk this earth, and our family is blessed to have had her; she will be forever remembered.

The family would like to thank the staff at Rotary Hospice Stratford Perth for their compassionate care at the end of Nancy’s life.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Friday, March 18, 2022 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 11:00 a.m. at the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron St. Stratford.

In lieu of flowers, and as expressions of sympathy, memorial donations can made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Rotary Hospice Stratford Perth through the funeral home. 519-271-7411. www.wgyoungfuneralhome.com
