Darren Eldon Kropf, age 53, of Stratford passed away peacefully at the Stratford General Hospital on January 12, 2022. Born in Kitchener, June 18, 1968, son of the late Eldon and Janet (Heinbecker) Kropf. 

Darren is survived by his loving wife Christine (Casey) whom he married September 15, 1990. Loving father of Mac (Rebecca) and Shayna (Trevor); sister Sharon Tough (Don – deceased); brothers and sisters-in-law Wayne Casey (Yvonne), Brian Casey, Barry Casey (Diane), Terry Casey (Lory). Lovingly remembered by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. 

Predeceased by his father-in-law and mother-in-law Bill and Bev Casey and his niece Jennifer Tough. 

Darren worked at Elmira Pet Products for 32 years as a line operator making many friends along the way. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed road trips with family and friends to various stadiums, Pittsburgh being one of his favourites. “Go Steelers!”   

A celebration of Darren’s life will be held on his birthday at the Royal Canadian Legion, 804 Ontario Street, Stratford, Saturday, June 18, from 1-4 p.m. All are welcome. Donations in his memory may be made to the London Regional Cancer Program or Toronto SickKids Hospital and may be made through the W.G.
