Garth Winston Clare Cunningham, age 81, of Goderich passed away peacefully at the Alexandra Marine and General Hospital on July 6, 2022. Born in Goderich, son of the late Vere and Ethel (Brown) Cunningham.
Beloved husband for 56 years of Ruth Anne (Wigzell). Father of Jenny Ayliffe and Angela Colbourne. Grandpa and Papa to Emma, Sophia, Olivia, Ewen and Kyla. Brother of Bert (Anne). Brother-in-law of Patrick Wigzell, Michael Wigzell (Riet),
Mary Ellen Leonard, Lynn Swan, Dale Wigzell. Also survived by sister-in-law Lois Cunningham and Eunice Cunningham, brother-in-law Con VanVliet and several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by brothers and sisters Joyce, Ham, Lorne, June Bradley (Lloyd), Laverne, Ford, Lois VanVliet, Doris Pitblado (Dave).
Garth will be missed by many good friends and community members.
A graveside service will be held at Colborne Cemetery, Goderich on August 16, 2022, at 10:30 a.m., followed by a reception at Saint George’s Anglican Church, (87 North Street, Goderich).
